Privacy Policy
Pincho Barge · Effective September 24, 2026Pincho Barge ("we", "us") operates the Pincho Barge website and mobile app, which let you order food for pickup at one of our floating barges. This policy explains what we collect and why.
What we collect
- Order details: your name, mobile number, optional boat name, the items you order, the barge you choose, and any notes you add.
- Payment: card payments are processed by Stripe or Square. We never see or store your full card number. For Zelle and cash we only record that payment was received.
- Location: if you allow it, the app uses your phone's location once to sort barges by distance. It is used on your device and is not stored on our servers.
- Device data: basic technical logs (IP address, browser type) needed to run the service securely.
How we use it
- To prepare your order and let the crew identify you at pickup.
- To text you when your order is received and when it is ready. Standard message rates may apply; reply STOP to opt out of texts (you will still be able to check your order in the app).
- To send a receipt and to keep sales and tax records required by law.
Sharing
We share data only with the service providers needed to run the ordering system: payment processors (Stripe, Square), our text-messaging provider, and our hosting provider. We do not sell your data and do not use it for advertising.
Retention
Order records are kept for accounting purposes. You may ask us to delete your personal details from past orders by contacting us below.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
